Our Vision & Mission
Inspired by Maa Maha Kali (Adya Kali) and the Dash Mahavidya, our mission is to establish a cultural and educational centre in Sydney that celebrates and promotes the rich artistic heritage of Indian traditions — including classical literature, traditional performing arts, visual storytelling, and folk practices. For the purpose of this initiative, the term ‘temple’ refers to a community-oriented gathering place that facilitates cultural festivals, exhibitions, educational programs, and inclusive arts-based learning inspired by the timeless knowledge systems of the Indian subcontinent.
What We Do
Discover how we bring our cultural mission to life through these core pillars of service — promoting cultural learning, artistic expression, and inclusive community engagement.

Cultural Events
Inspired by the timeless heritage of Maa Maha Kali (Adya Kali) and the Dash Mahavidya, our cultural events celebrate the richness of Indian-origin traditions through public performances and creative arts. These include classical music and dance, storytelling, folk art exhibitions, and literature readings — designed to foster appreciation of diverse artistic practices in a welcoming, community-driven setting.

Education
Our educational programs aim to preserve and share knowledge systems rooted in India’s literary, philosophical, and folk traditions. From workshops on traditional crafts, classical performing arts, and heritage storytelling to intergenerational learning experiences, our initiative empowers individuals to connect with cultural wisdom in meaningful, accessible ways.

Community Support
We envision the Centre as a cultural gathering place — inclusive and community-oriented — where people from all backgrounds can engage in shared learning, dialogue, and creative expression. Through events, exhibitions, and social programs, we support intercultural participation, social cohesion, and wellbeing in Australia’s diverse society.
