Arakeshwara Temple, Haleyedatore
Hale Yedatore, a village in the Krishnaraja Nagara taluk of Mysore district, Karnataka, was severely damaged in the 1920s by flood waters of the River Kaveri. This prompted the Mysore ruler to build a new town, Krishnarajanagar, on elevated land nearby.
