Banteay Srei

Banteay Srei is a 10th century CE Cambodian temple dedicated to the Hindu gods Shiva and Parvati. It is located near the hill of Phnom Dei, 25 km north-east of the main group of temples of Angkor. The temple is praised as the jewel of Khmer art due to its elaborate decorative wall carvings and miniature scale compared to other Angkorian constructions.
