- इस मन्दिर की यात्रा के लिए दिसम्बर से फरवरी और जून से अगस्त का शुष्क मौसम सर्वोत्तम है। इस समय वर्षा नहीं होती, जिससे सड़कें सुरक्षित और सुगम रहती हैं। मार्च से मई और सितम्बर से नवम्बर में भारी वर्षा होती है, जिससे बुमासिफ्वा की कच्ची सड़कों पर आवागमन कठिन हो जाता है। फरवरी-मार्च में महाशिवरात्रि का पर्व होता है, जो यहाँ का सबसे बड़ा आयोजन है। यदि आप उत्सव का आनंद लेना चाहते हैं तो यह समय उत्तम है, किन्तु भीड़ अधिक होती है। अक्टूबर-नवम्बर में नवरात्रि और दीपावली का आयोजन भी देखने योग्य है।

- सामान्य दिनों में दर्शन हेतु १५-३० मिनट पर्याप्त हैं। त्योहारों पर यह समय १-२ घंटे तक हो सकता है।

- पुरुषों को धोती या पैंट-शर्ट, महिलाओं को साड़ी या सलवार-कमीज पहनने की सलाह दी जाती है। बरमूडा और छोटे वस्त्र वर्जित हैं।

History
