History
Located in Badi town on the banks of the Barna River, the Maa Hinglaj Shakti Peeth was established by Mahant Bhagwan Das Maharaj, a 4th-generation saint of the Khaki Akhada. Legend states he brought the divine fire from Baluchistan after a long pilgrimage. The temple gained prominence during the era of Begum Qudsia (1819), who, after witnessing a miracle where meat offerings turned into sweets, became a patron and donated land. Since 2005, the temple has been managed by a trust. It is surrounded by a 65-acre garden.
Spiritual Significance
