Jeshorehwari Kali Temple
Jeshoreshwari Kali Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in Bangladesh, dedicated to the goddess Kali. It is located in Ishwaripur, a village in Shyamnagar upazila of Satkhira. The temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths, where Devi Sati's Palms of hands and soles of the feet were fallen. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi visited this temple in 2021 and gifted a golden crown to the idol, which was later stolen during 2024 Bangladesh anti-Hindu violence.
