History
Kameshwar Choupal was an Indian politician and member of the Bihar Legislative Council, elected to the Council in 2002. He became publicly known for laying the first brick of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on 9 November 1989. The organisation Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh recognised him by conferring the status of "first Kar Sevak". His public profile is chiefly associated with that Ayodhya ceremony. (Wikidata id Q16745223)
