History
Built in the 16th century, this temple is believed to be more than 400 years old. It is widely known as Chamunda Nandikeshwar Dham and is considered one of the earliest temples in India.
Spiritual Significance
It is one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas, dedicated to Goddess Chamunda, a fierce form of Goddess Kali.
