Kedarnath Temple
Kēdāranātha Temple is a Hindu temple and one of the twelve jyotirlingas of Śiva. Located on the Garhwal Himalayan range near the Mandākinī river in Uttarakhand, India, it is considered a homogeneous form of Śiva, known as the 'Lord of Kēdārakhaṇḍa'. Due to extreme weather, the temple is open to the public only between April and November. During winter, the deity is moved to Ukhimath for worship. The temple is attributed to Ādi Shankara and dates back to 800 CE.
