History
The Yonghe Temple is a significant temple and monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism located in Beijing, China. It is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist monasteries in the country and was the highest Buddhist temple during the middle and late Qing dynasty. The current abbot is Lama Hu Xuefeng.
