History
Mount Kailash is a mountain located in the Ngari Prefecture of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China. It is part of the Gangdise Shan mountain range in the Transhimalaya and is situated in the western part of the Tibetan Plateau. The peak reaches an elevation of 6,638 m (21,778 ft) and is near the trijunction of China, India, and Nepal.
