Nageshwara Temple
The Nageshvara temple complex is located in Begur, Karnataka, India. It features a main deity consecrated by Rishis and was commissioned during the Western Ganga dynasty. Later shrines reflect the influence of the Chola, Hoysala, and Vijayanagara dynasties. An inscription dated c. 890, discovered here, is the earliest evidence of Bengaluru's existence.
