History
The Ramalingeshwara group of temples, located in Avani town of Kolar district, Karnataka, is a 10th-century construction by the Nolamba dynasty, later partially renovated by the Chola dynasty. The main Mandapam and Rajagopuram were built by the Vijayanagara kings. It is protected as a monument of national importance by the Archaeological Survey of India.
