Sai Temple
Hōryū-ji (Hōryū Gakumonji, 法隆学問寺) is a Buddhist temple in Ikaruga, Nara Prefecture, Japan. Built shortly after Buddhism was introduced to Japan, it dates to 607 and is one of the oldest Buddhist sites in the country. Historically it was counted among the powerful Seven Great Temples and the complex has served both as a seminary and as a monastery.
