The Shiv Mandir of Ambarnath, also known as the Ambreshwar Shiva Temple or Puratana Shivalaya, is a historic 11th-century Hindu temple located on the bank of the Waldhuni river in Ambarnath, Maharashtra. Built in 1060 AD and carved in stone, the temple is believed to have been commissioned by the Shilahara king Chhittaraja, with the possibility that it was subsequently rebuilt by his son, Mummuni.
