The Shiv Mandir of Ambarnath is a historic 11th-century Hindu temple located in Ambarnath, Maharashtra, on the bank of the Waldhuni river. Also known as the Ambreshwar Shiva Temple or locally as Puratana Shivalaya, the temple was built in 1060 AD. It is carved in stone and was likely constructed by the Shilahara king Chhittaraja, with the possibility that it was rebuilt by his son, Mummuni. It is situated 2 km from the Ambarnath railway station.
