Shiva Temple Ground
Shiva Temple is a prominent summit in the Grand Canyon, named after the Hindu deity Shiva by Clarence Dutton, who believed it to be the grandest of the canyon's buttes. The name was officially adopted in 1906 by the U.S. Board on Geographic Names.
