जनकपुर स्थित यह भव्य मंदिर माता सीता की जन्मस्थली के रूप में प्रसिद्ध है। इस मंदिर का निर्माण 1910 ईस्वी में टीकमगढ़ की रानी वृषभानु ने करवाया था। यह स्थान रामायण काल से ही अत्यंत पवित्र माना जाता है, जहाँ राजा जनक ने भगवान शिव के धनुष को तोड़ने के उपरांत माता सीता का विवाह भगवान श्री राम से किया था। मंदिर की वास्तुकला मुगल और हिंदू शैलियों का एक अनूठा मिश्रण है, जिसे 'नौ लखा मंदिर' के नाम से भी जाना जाता है क्योंकि इसके निर्माण में उस समय नौ लाख रुपये खर्च हुए थे। यह मंदिर न केवल एक धार्मिक स्थल है, बल्कि नेपाल की सांस्कृतिक और ऐतिहासिक विरासत का एक महत्वपूर्ण प्रतीक भी है।
