Sree Jagannatha Temple
The Jagannath Temple is dedicated to Jagannath, a form of Vishnu, located in Puri, Odisha. King Indradyumna of Avanti built the main temple, and the present complex was rebuilt from the eleventh century onwards by Anantavarman Chodaganga of the Eastern Ganga dynasty. The temple rituals are based on Shabari Tantras and local legends link the idols with Nilamadhaba deva worshipped by tribala.
