History
Perumparampu Sri Mahadeva Temple is located at Edappal in the Malappuram district of Kerala. It is believed to be one of the 108 Shiva temples of Kerala and is said to have been installed by the sage Parasurama. The temple is centuries old and features a main sanctum sanctorum that is a two-storey building in a square, Kukkudakruthy style. It is believed that Sri Parashurama started the Shiva lingam at the ancient Paraparampu village.
