Subrahmanya Temple
The Murugan Temple at Saluvankuppam, Tamil Nadu, is dedicated to the deity Murugan. Unearthed in 2005, it consists of a brick temple from the Sangam period and a granite Pallava temple from the 8th century CE, making it the oldest temple in India. The Archaeological Survey of India believes the brick temple could be the oldest of its kind in Tamil Nadu.
