History
The Toungoo dynasty, also known as the Nyaungyan dynasty after 1599, was the ruling dynasty of Burma from the mid-16th century to 1752. It is referred to as the Second Burmese Empire and at its peak, it controlled a vast territory, likely the largest empire in Southeast Asia's history.
