Temple de Cybèle
The Temple of Cybele, also known as the Temple of Magna Mater, was Rome's first and most significant temple dedicated to the goddess Magna Mater. It was constructed to house a meteoric stone brought from Greek Asia Minor to Rome in 204 BC and was dedicated on 11 April 191 BC. The temple hosted the first Megalesia festival on its proscenium.
